Identity and product design.

Transitioning from Facebook Workplace, PureGym partnered with YOOBIC to provide an internal app for all staff notifications and social networking

Working closely with the people team at PureGym, I developed the “Connect” identity with the objective of creating an app icon that would be “at home” on a member of staff’s phone screen, sat next to the PureGym App.

This was another departure from the brand, as this needed to gain some buy in from the wider business. Coming off the back of using Facebook Workplace across 600+ employees, there needed to be a level of quality established early doors, to build confidence and excitement across the business.

It all begins with the prototype concept, building confidence in the identity and how it can be implemented across the platform. The concept chosen takes inspiration from health and wellbeing apps, such as HeadSpace. Softening the UI and keeping all important navigation accessible and simple to understand was a core objective for me.

The YOOBIC effect.

The partnering with Yoobic brought in white label requirements for their platform.

Dashboard tiles were developed on from initial concepts to provide simple quick navigation to all main sections of the app.
